For example, it blocks pop-up windows, warns you when a website requests your [location](https://browser.yandex.com/help/en/personal-data-protection/location-information.md), and so on. If Yandex Browser rules interfere with how you use a website, you can set an _exception_ for this site. For example, you can apply exceptions if you don't want Yandex Browser to warn you every time Yandex Maps requests your location. Click **Настройки Яндекс Браузера** → **Settings** → **Websites**. 1. At the bottom of the page, click **Advanced site settings**. 1. Below the name of the desired element, click **Site settings**. 1. Go to the **Allowed** or **Not allowed** Atab and click **Add** in the upper-right corner. 1. Enter the site URL in the box. You can use masks for setting an address. For example, if you write `https://[*.]example.com`, the exception will be valid for the domain and all of its subdomains: 1. Click **Add**. {% note info %} You can always move a site from the "Allowed" to "Not allowed" list, and vice versa.
