# Rosetta



## What is it? {#about}

**Rosetta** is additional software that runs in background mode. It allows applications that are designed for Macs with Intel processors to run on Macs with Apple processors.


## How to install {#install}

If you have a Mac device with an Apple processor, the first time you run any app, you'll get an automatic prompt to install **Rosetta**.

You can also install the program yourself:

1. Open **Finder**.
1. Go to the `/System/Library/CoreServices` folder.
1. Open the **Rosetta** installation file.
1. When the program is installed, restart Yandex Browser.
