Control from the side panel

Note. Tab management is only available on Windows.

When a lot of tabs are open, they may become difficult to navigate. Yandex Browser contains a special panel for managing a large number of tabs. The panel displays tabs in a vertical list that's divided into groups.

To open the tab control panel, go to the side panel and click  ( if you have 10 tabs open) or press Ctrl + Shift + E in Windows (Shift +  + E in macOS).

Note. If the icon is missing, right-click on the side panel and select Tab manager. To remove the icon, deselect the Tab manager option.

To manage tabs, you can use:

  1. Hover over a tab in the list and click the icon that appears to the left.
  2. At the bottom of the panel, select one of the icons :
    • — To deselect.
    • — To copy the tab addresses.
    • — To move tabs to a new window.
    • — To close tabs.

Tab search

Use the search bar in the control panel: start typing the tab name or address, and you'll see search suggestions under the bar.
