Child account

Note

Child accounts are available in Yandex Browser version 22.11.0 and above. If you don't see child accounts, update and restart your Yandex Browser.

What child accounts are for

With a child account, you can control what content is available to your child in Yandex Browser and protect them from the things you don't want them to see.

In the child account:

  • Yandex services offer age-appropriate content. Set age restrictions in the Family account.

  • The search results will exclude adult content completely (even if the query is explicitly aimed at finding such resources), as well as sites containing obscene language.

  • Yandex Music hides songs with explicit lyrics.

    • Kinopoisk automatically switches to child mode, where you can set age and time restrictions.
  • To prevent your child from logging out of their account, logging out requires a code from an SMS that's sent to the parent's phone.

  • Incognito mode can't be enabled.
