# Bank cards
You don't have to enter your card details every time you make an online payment. You can store your card data encrypted in the [Yandex Browser](https://browser.yandex.com/) or on the Yandex server. Yandex Browser protects your payment data by warning you if you enter your card number on an unsafe website.
## Saving your bank card info {#saving}
When you enter your bank card details in Yandex Browser for the first time, the browser asks whether you want to save this information and use it for autofilling online payment forms in the future.
You can also link your card to [your Yandex ID](https://yandex.com/support/id/en/authorization/registration.html).

[AES-256-GCM](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Encryption_Standard) encryption is applied with a [key](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Key_(cryptography)) used for [password encryption](https://browser.yandex.com/help/en/security/passwords-management.md). For better protection, create a [master password](https://browser.yandex.com/help/en/security/passwords-management.md#master-password).
A key protected with a master password is [almost impossible](https://yandex.com/support/browser-passwords-crypto/with-master.html) to decipher.

Select the storage for your card data:
1. Click **** → **Passwords, cards, data**.
1. Open **Settings**.
1. Under **Bank cards**, in the **Offer to save card information by default** field, select the desired option from the list.
## Managing your bank cards {#management}
You can manually add, change, or delete your bank card details in the Bank card manager.

1. Click **** → **Passwords, cards, data**.
1. If you have already [created](https://browser.yandex.com/help/en/security/passwords-management.md#master-password) a master password, enter it to access your vault.
1. Open **Yandex Pay cards**.
1. In the upper-right corner of the section, click **Add**.
1. Fill in the fields.
1. Click **Add**.
- Editing
1. Click **** → **Passwords, cards, data**.
1. If you have already [created](https://browser.yandex.com/help/en/security/passwords-management.md#master-password) a master password, enter it to access your vault.
1. Open **Yandex Pay cards**.
1. Click the card you want to edit.
1. Enter changes.
1. Click **Save**.
- Delete
1. Click **** → **Passwords, cards, data**.
1. If you have already [created](https://browser.yandex.com/help/en/security/passwords-management.md#master-password) a master password, enter it to access your vault.
1. Open **Yandex Pay cards**.
1. Hover over the card you want to delete.
1. Click **Delete**.

If you have deleted your card by mistake, click the **Restore** link in the lower left corner of the screen. If you reload the page or go to a different tab, you won't be able to do it.

## Synchronizing cards {#sync}
For security reasons, card data is synced if you're using a [master password](https://browser.yandex.com/help/en/security/passwords-management.md#master-password). Card data is [securely protected](https://yandex.com/support/browser-passwords-crypto/with-master.html#synch) during synchronization.
Card syncing stops if [syncing is fully disabled](https://browser.yandex.com/help/en/device/sync.md#off). To disable only password and card syncing:
1. Click **** → **Settings** → **General settings** → **Syncing** → **Sync settings**.
1. Disable the **Passwords, cards, data** option.
## Disabling the Card Manager {#saving-off}

Even if you disable the bank card manager on your computer, it still stays enabled on other devices.

1. Click **** → **Passwords, cards, data**.
1. Open **Settings**.
1. In the **Bank cards** section, click **Turn off bank card autofill**.
The browser will no longer suggest bank card details in payment forms or offer to save cards. Previously entered data will remain encrypted on your computer and will become available if you enable the bank card manager again.
To do this, click **Turn on bank card autofill** in the **Bank cards** section.
